The experience has been generally good, but ---
I've had this printer for about a month. Overall experience with the configuration and use has been great. Setup is very intuitive.
The style is very elegant compared to the printer Cannon it had before. You experience some problems because of this elegant style. The small drawer at the bottom that pulls out for loading paper becomes a real pain after a while. Mainly because there is no good handle on the front to understand. Sometimes, when trying to remove the drawer, you accidentally trip the door above it (which opens when you print something.)
The biggest problem I have, which is also caused by the way, is there is no easy way to understand printer top. This is the one who gets up to put a document to be copied or scanned. There is a slot to lift, but in reality there is no place to keep as you are getting. Therefore, usually collapses. Great printer, excellent quality. The image quality is as good as a printer more expensive. The only drawback I find is that the ink tanks are 25% smaller than previous Canon models and very expensive. The wireless option is so convenient and easy to configure.
Canon has to give five stars for customer service. The same day I received the printer, right out of the box, small door that protects the memory card slots will not stay closed. I called Canon and they replaced the printer immediately. I had a new printer in three days. In addition, I was able to keep the defective printer ink.

good choice at a great price
I scoured the Internet and read review after and was scared away a few and even a little insurance about it. But finally I decided on this model, based on testing, the features I wanted, and of course price. I've been very satisfied with the options you have this model. I had no problems with any of the functions, except that there is little more than I'll never use, although this is not a problem. The place was easier than I could have imagined. The wireless connection works very well. The only issue I noted is that the system does not automatically inside or outside feature is detected from the computer when trying to print, or out when idle for long periods. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the printer and not I had no problems in any area.

Great printer
I originally got an HP 6500 all in one, it was garbage. I tried this Canon all in one. Unpacking put on disk and in 10-15 minutes and was using. You do not have to restart your computer to use it after it goes into sleep mode, tried to use the fax directly from the laptop, but could not. I have only to spend time looking into it. Everything else is just great. Wi-Fi friendly. I have Windows 7 on the road.

We bought this printer because we had a very bad experience with an HP printer. The HP had a mind of its own and was the equivalent of having installed Norton security Antiviris!
Canyon setup is very easy given the functionality of the machine. We have connected to a router. Both desktops are also connected to through the router and work well with the printer. We have two laptops and portable computers that connect to the wireless router and also works well with printer. As I said was very simple setup that we used the included software and chose the Cannon printer when asked.
The printer and scanner are very quiet. I just know that the scanner is running, with the exception of the screen tells me so. We have not had enough time to know how the ink lasts but we were told with 5 separate cartridges will only colors needed to be replaced (which would presumably save money).
We had a capacity utilization fax within all in one unit. But I can only guess that is as impeccable as the rest have been.
In conclusion I would say that we are very pleased with our purchase. Nice machine and goes well with the manufacturer.
