How to create a script for your call center

At the beginning of my creative career, I volunteered as an overnight deejay at a radio station of the university. I loved playing music and interacting with insomniac listeners, but I have a real lack of reading the news. I tear copy straight from news agency printer and if I was lucky, I had a producer turn that raw newsfeed into informational text that I read into the microphone. The text is divided into sentences, that are designed to deliver easily through the air. When my producer did not come to my turn, I did this myself bookmark the page, insert pauses, and emphasize in the words and sentence clauses that I wanted to stress. If I could understand more of an AM signal diffuse and weak, then what was the point receipt of five minutes at the top of the hour to deliver the news? I had a lot of fun and I learned to "speak" again. Every time I any live speaking today, I use the exact same techniques I learned while the "On-Air" sign was flashing above the studio. I can make my speech or piece of text I am reading, because I know that impact is everything. If I lose my breath in the middle of a sentence, then it is too long. If the last word leaves an inaudible phrase, my message is lost. If I stumble on an unfamiliar word or name, my audience loses confidence in my message.

Telephone operators live who work in call centers and answering services need the same help that any live speaker needs. It is the job of call center operator to communicate image for the business client to the caller, and this begins with the first seconds of the call. Many small business owners' needs never go beyond responding to the representatives of his lines with "the Company XYZ," I can help you? "and improvising the rest of the conversation to obtain the information requested by the customer. When clients upgrade their accounts for more complex services, it is important to create a script that works for the company to register service, the operator reading the script, and the client. The sales representative is more than willing to help you create the best script to fit all of their sales or orders information.

Create a script call center begins with the phrase "response" and the same principles continue through the entire process of creating a logical script. H ere are some important points to consider when creating the script:

• Avoid the words. Make your greeting as easy to pronounce as possible. "Doctor Perkowicz Peoria Plastic Surgery Plaza" is not easy to say, even for native speakers English. Make sure your operators know how to pronounce every part of his sentence answer, and the rest of the words of the script. Keep sentences short avoid the repetition of consonant sounds that sound more awkward phone or the operator can lead to stuttering.

• Go global. A "Good Morning / Evening "greeting can work for some companies, but not all of them. If your company is doing business across time zones, think about the use of a simple "Hello, XYZ Company" for his client at the other end of the globe.

• Humanize your greeting. Have an impartial friend or a trusted customer listen to your greeting, especially if it is a long message of introduction of more than a sentence or two. Does this sound like a recording? If you give that impression to a caller, the person on the other end of the line could only hang up because she wants to talk to a live person, not a machine. Keep all parts of his brief script and operator message transmission time to breathe and sound like a living person to create the script.

• Less is more. There is a temptation to try and pack all the information about your business in your script call center, including the provision of an operator of a copy of your frequent list of questions (FAQ) for which he or she can quickly scan the file and answer 99.9% of the questions of callers. However, this skill requires practice and training for the operator and patience by the caller. Long pauses to find information, add minutes the call and are expensive experience frustrating for the operator and the caller alike. Extensive training account is available through most call centers, if your budget permits. If this resource is not an option for you, limit the information available to the operators to a few facts about your product or service and let them know it's okay to ask callers if someone from the law department can return your call and answer your questions in depth.

• Test. Call your account weekly and testing to ensure that operators are following your instructions, are handling your scripts the way you expect, and are able to easily access the information they need to take your calls. After the honeymoon period with a new account, operators often grow lax and shorten your script, or improvise a lot more beyond the call of duty. This can be detrimental to your business. Make sure you continue your call center to ensure they are serving their needs.

• Make changes, and adjust again. Review your script from time to time and see if it is taking action. Ultimately, your script should lead to a sale, an appointment of an application for more information or further contact his office. Check your call logs and any statistics with your sales representative offered on a monthly basis. If you notice a downward trend in its results, work with your sales representative to change his script.

These suggestions are just the beginning of the creation of a script call center for your organization successful. Work with your sales representative and listen their suggestions, add your own, do your market research and your script will be successful. Clear communication starts with clear instructions you, and clear voices on the end of answering the phone lines. Your call center will work with you to ensure that all needs are filled above their expectations.

Why is my HP Laserjet 2500 print coverage "on page" with each job?

My new computer has Windows XP but I have it on my home computer and have never had to print what amounts to cover a "page" with the user name, file description, server queue and information about it before printing the job. I guess it has something to do with the HP Laserjet 2500 and when I print to our Konica / Minolta printer, this does not happen. Any idea why this is happening, or where I could turn off the feature?

That is usually a network environment, not a configuration printer. You should ask your network administrator if you have one. If not, login as administrator and right-click the printer in the Control Panel, Printers, and check each page must have a network setup or something, and a check box cover.

5 Tips for printer ink to save money

Ever wondered why a large number of specific printers for consumers home and small offices are cheap prices? It may not be aware of it, but it is an open secret in the industry of manufacture of the printer that the printer manufacturers deliberately set prices below their printers. The reason why they could afford to do this is that they fully expect to compensate for unrealized gains, with the price of ink cartridges for the printer.

It is entirely logical from a business standpoint. When you buy a particular printer model, you are committed to the purchase of ink cartridges the printer made specifically for him, no matter how expensive they are. And printer ink cartridges are obviously expensive. This can feel a little oppressive when it seems that you have no choice but to buy expensive ink cartridges to keep using the printer.

Fortunately, you have a choice and there are ways to keep your printing costs down. Here are five tips and tricks you can use to save money on printer ink.

Tip # 1: Choose your printer wisely

The first act to be done to save the printer ink will start from the first step, which is in the purchase of the printer. Before you buy a particular printer model, made its first investigation on the amount of ink cartridges will cost you.

A lot of consumers consider the cost per unit volume of ink. However, this data can be misleading because it really does not tell you how many pages an ink cartridge can produce. An ink cartridge that contains this much ink can sometimes print only the pages that a cartridge that has only half the amount of ink than the first. In its Instead, you should look at the yield per page for each cartridge.

Tip # 2: Consider your options

Apart from that the performance of the ink cartridges, also considering the technology used in the printer. For example, laser printers are more expensive than inkjet printers, laser printers, but in reality are more cost-effective in the long term. Laser printers generally have a higher yield pages per cartridge that ink jet printers.

If you are going to do a lot of color printing, you must also choose a printer has separate tanks for each color instead of a printer that has a black tank and a tank of colors. Not only are these separate color cartridges, but much cheaper than replacing the tanks reached only when necessary.

Tip # 3: Printing with caution

This trick sound silly, but you to print a document only when necessary. You can definitely extend the life of your ink cartridges in this way simply because you are not using them. On the negative side, the ink in the cartridges can dry out from lack of use so make sure you print something at least once a week.

When you print your documents you can use a print setting grayscale and draft instead of the full color range if the document you are printing is for your reference. In this way, you only get to spend in black ink on a regular basis. Black ink is cheaper than the color.

Tip # 4: Tip of the printer

It is a sad but undeniable fact that the printer is programmed to lie. It is found that some printer manufacturers install sensors or software in its printers that are intended to inform consumers that their ink cartridges are empty when it can still give a few more pages. The Epson and Hewlett-Packard have faced class action suits against them for precisely this reason.

But even if the printer is, you can fool telling the truth. Some computer-savvy users have shared tips like putting a strip of duct tape over the sensor of a laser printer to deceive the print until the toner is really out. There are a lot of tricks so that you can find on the Internet for your printer model particular. You can also turn to the ink-saving software that will help prolong the life of the ink cartridges, but make sure you do your research the software first before buying it.

Tip # 5: Buying remanufactured ink

The last tip is to buy generic or remanufactured printer ink cartridges instead of the real call. generic inks are definitely cheaper than the original inks, and many suppliers offer discounts on bulk orders. You can also choose to take their empty ink cartridges for ink refilling station.

The caveat here is that the printer can refusing to work with refilled cartridges and the printer may end corrupted. But again, sometimes it is better to buy a new printer to replace the ink cartridges the printer.

computer printer table
Is this equipment package is worth its price?

This pack therapy equipment worth 9750 pesos, which is about 250dollars. the LCD monitor and Pentium 3 is used, but comes with a brand new table, AV controller, keyboard, mouse, speakers and a color printer. IM also concerned that only has a memory 6 GB. I want a team that is affordable and is fast. I want to buy it but I'm not sure if it's worth.

That seems OK for $ 250, taking into account all the extra material that comes with it. However, it will be fast, much less the imagination, with a Pentium 3 and what I assume you mean a 6 GB hard disk (Most new computers come with at least 100 GB hard drive now). If your budget is greater than $ 250 and the performance and speed is a priority, I 'd recommend you go looking for something a little more recent.

printer replacements
Is there a difference between genuine printer ink cartridge and the replacement cartridges?

I have epson and I have been buying their non-epson replacement cartridges for a lot cheaper! I don't buy the original epson ink cartridges anymore because they cost so much. I've been using the replacement cartridges for awhile now and I don't think I have had any problems except my printing quality has declined but I'm not sure is it because of the replacement ink or just because my printer is old.

First of all...is there any difference between real genuine printing ink and the no brand replacement cartridges? Do they damange your printer or are they exactly the same?

Second of all...do printing quality delcine after you have had the printer for many years? Thanks!

most of the time, printers will print very well with replacement cartridges, but it then, also, depends on the quality of the cartridge mfg.
as for printers declining after many years, it's a tough call. some of them work very well up until one day they don't work at all. but i think it depends on the mfg, and type of printer and even the amount of use they get.
something i would recommend is to take the printer apart and give it a real good cleaning. use lint free cloth, rubbing alcohol and qtips. lots and lots of newspaper. while you're in there, check and see if there are any signs of 'old age' that might impact the printing, such as loose or sloppy drive belts, excess inks which might just gunk up the insides, and such. if it still doesn't perform to your expectations, try a name brand cartridge and see if that helps. if it does, then you know that you should stick with them for better performance. if it doesn't, then maybe you need to start watching the sale flyers.
the no-name inks have a tendency to leave excess ink behind, but it has not been proven to my satisfaction, to say that they leave any more than the name brands.
so once you clean it up, keep an eye on it as you compare cart to cart.
so good luck and let us know how it goes.

Could Ubuntu Linux rule the future over Mac OS X or even Windows?

Could Ubuntu Linux rule the future over Mac OS X or even Windows?

Ok. I must admit I just created a computer box with Ubuntu 9. I have been so impressed with this operating system, I started to wonder what was the future of Mac OS X or Windows. I don’t mean question them, but it seems there is lots of excitement behind Ubuntu. There are so many futuristic innovative features I have yet to find in the other mainstream operating systems like Windows or OS X.

Ubuntu is open source. Programmers and general techies love it. It is a very friendly geek operating system which is free due to its open source philosophy. There is lots of open source tools and network features. The interface is completely awesome to work with. I was also shocked how intelligent it was as I plugged in third party devices like my printer. Best of all, they worked with no hitches.

Going back to the feature set, the graphic user interface is friendly. Any monkey brain should be able to figure it out. If you are used to working with OS X or Windows, you should feel pretty comfortable with this. This includes running out of the box applications like Open Office. Open Office is free and open source. It is not quite as intelligent as Microsoft Office, but it does the basic jobs you would expect of Word, Powerpoint, or Excel.

If you need databases installed, you would obviously go with the stellar enterprise level MY SQL. You can install through a “Get program’ option. Since I am a geek head, I love using the session terminal with the ‘sudo apt-get’ command. It is so powerful but yet easy to install the required tools any tech head would need. This includes a developer like me.

I was able to set up a developers environment so fast. This includes the popular integrated development environment (IDE) like Eclipse, and programming languages like Ruby On Rails, PHP, Python, and Java. Also, you get the old dinosaur of C++.

As Linux becomes a standard, it seem Ubuntu is easily becoming a standard as well. Everyone talks about Red Hat (or Fedora) being a very popular flavor of Linux. But why? If you look at the Alexa ranking, Ubuntu exceeds Red Hat in traffic. It shows Ubuntu is gaining steam among the geeks. And remember, it is the geeks who makes the future of technology become mainstream. Also, remember that masses of them are moving away from Microsoft lock down product and moving to open source projects and operating systems. It has been obvious over the years that Linux could be the future and Ubuntu leading it down the road Let’s hope the enterprise corporations will recognize this too.
