Please Help! I can not install the HP LaserJet 2840 on Vista 64 bit.?

Hello everyone! I just purchased a desktop computer with Vista 64-bit. I've been trying to install my HP LaserJet 2840 printer to it and I can not seem to get it to work. I downloaded the drivers from the HP website, but still no luck. The installation process seems to go fine, but the printer does not respond to any print command. I know there is nothing wrong with the printer since connecting to my XP with no problem. Please help! I have a small home business, and need the printer urgently. Any advice would be helpful not only stupid comments please. Gracias. "Thanks to Elizabeth for rapid response. Believe me I tried to get help, but the fools want to charge me for my my printer warranty has expired. I tried to explain that there is nothing wrong with the printer just need help installing Vista but were not helpful. There is a driver for the Series 2800, but I can not work. I heard HP had CS fine, but I was definitely wrong cause they suck!

This is easier and better. Go to the HP website> Go to the driver then and unloading, then you should be able to find his way. Note: You may have to serch drivers and downloads if you can not find or can not be called Drivers and Downloads but it will be something.
