This is my second netbook and very impressed. Most of these netbooks are very similar in performance and the choice comes down to personal preference. A couple of things I liked;
- The touch screen has a bump "Instead of being smooth surface
- Keyboard layout is ideal for touch typists (my netbook is another good, but it drives me crazy with the key right shift is smaller and offset)
- The screen is bright and can be easily adjusted to improve battery life
- As mentioned in other reviews, the battery life is great
- The most important thing for me was easy access to the memory and hard drive. This netbook has two doors at the bottom so you can upgrade the memory or hard drive without having to take completely apart (as opposed to the new Asus models)
I upgraded the hard drive and a 80G SSD 2G and memory. It will never compete with a laptop or desktop loaded, but is very fast (being a netbook) easy to operate and MS Office.
The only element that causes a problem is the AC adapter. It has a socket big enough to fit in tight spaces (As some convenience stores in the counters of hotel rooms). However, this is just a minor inconvenience.
In general, it is a major netbook and a plan to buy a second for a member Famiy.

Very happy with this netbook. It is used now for a week. It does everything it says to do. Very nice machine. Only question is used to the mouse pad.
There is a considerable amount of Dabat about upgrading to 2 GB of RAM. I have the 2 GB PC2-6400 800 cards and installed and the computer not start.
I also bought this Acer Ao532h boot with Windows 7 for my wife. I appeared on the memory card in his and started without problems and also I immediately recognized the 2 GB of RAM. Then I put the 1Gb card in the Acer Windows 7 Ao532 machine to mine (Acer A0523 Windows XP) and not start well. So I am now convinced that both machines use memory cards diffferent due to the difference in operating systems. I'm hoping what I'm saying is true. Perhaps it is my Acer Windows XP is not good (based on a review before customers) or you may need a different memory card.
Update: I ordered Crucial 2GB CT25664AC667 256Mx64PC2-5300 DDR2 SODIMM memory 200 pin laptop and installed it on my Acer Ao532h with Windows XP and booted the recognition of 2 GB of RAM. Works like a champ. Now I'm very happy. ***** 5stars. Absolutely 100% satisfied with this netbook and so is my wife. Its running on Windows 7 starter pack.

But the Acer a0532h have some attractive features such as wireless-N support, and a 6-cell battery (in the lower capacity) for the same price as the HP with a 3 cell battery and wireless "g".
