Automating logon local network printer (password protected)?
How can I automate the registration of Windows on a local network printer? Today, I have to open Internet Explorer, type gsbprint, then my username and password to access the local printer network. How can I automate this process (either through a script or by clicking an icon)? I'm using Windows XP Home. Links Please be specific in your answer and provide resources if you think you might be useful. Thank you!
If the printer is on your network, why not just go to the "Printers and Faxes" and then "Add Printer" wizard.
