Should I install the software first?
I am creating a Brother multifunction printer (MFC-465CN) and there seems to conflicting instructions as to whether the connection interface cable and switch on the first or install the driver software first. It has USB and network connectivity, and I'm pretty sure that if I were to use the USB connector to install the software first, and even a little note inside the printer tells you to (although how the settings quick guide is written). However, with the network cable conn (through a Netgear router) seems to suggest that cable is connected and turned on before installing the software - I do not want to get this wrong, so nobody can say with certainty that? Thanks for all the answers - in the end I connected the network cable, on and after installing the software - Everything was fine and works perfectly from the network (router). Now, to choose Who gets best answer. . .
That's hard - creating a point system restoration of the former, at least, or better yet, the image of your system - the printer drivers are difficult to roll back otherwise. I have no experience directly from this machine, but in a recent installation of an HP network printer AIO is advisable to change the instructions in the first then run the software, presumably due to network connections need to be tested and established. The printer has to connect to the network, you will board software to do this, the software in the disc machines allow the network to connect and use the printer.
